Applying to College

There are many college options to choose from, so it's important to review their entrance requirements and make note of application deadlines.

UC applications are available online beginning October 1st; the UC application filing dates are November 1st - November 30th.

CSU applications are available online beginning October 1st; the CSU application filing dates are October 1st - November 30th.

Private and out of state colleges and universities often use the Common Application. When in doubt, go to the college's website directly.  These colleges will often require Secondary School Reports along with recommendation letters.  Requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance for SSR's to be completed in a timely manner.  Please plan ahead! Please provide a Brag Sheet and two Student Information Sheets for your counselor to complete a Secondary School Report/Letter of Recommendation.

Community College applications should be filled out by February of your Senior Year.  Go to the college's website to apply online.
